Triztan Maliq

Triztan Maliq is reserved and quiet, and doesn't interact often with characters outside of the book's central group. When she does make friends, it takes some time for her to open up to them. She wears darker, gloomier, and fringe-style clothing. Despite a naive, optimistic life-view, she has a secret drug problem. As the UNIVERSITY story continues, she'll gradually loosen up and become a more outgoing personality, with her own peculiar sense of style.

Devlin Tofi

Devlin Tofi is a 'future punk'. He likes punk, alien industrial music. He's a champion hover-racer, and dresses in racing gear and other strange clothing reflective of the lifestyle, he's alway's changing hair colors, and loves to party. Devlin develops a love for Ttriztan that will be relavealed gradually.

Tumbura

Tumbura is an aspiring singer, bery self motivated and independent, a younger version of present-day Maddonna or Jennifer Lopez. Being from a poor family in distant sector of space, she's putting herself through University. Tumbura's an excellent musician, hip to all the most popular trends in future techno, pop, and hip-hop music. She has an impeccable fashion sense, rarely in the same clothing for two consecutive scenes, and never in the same outfit twice. She has a band who will eventually become local celebrities, and work their way up into the recording business.

Zebulin Ab

Zebulin Ab is a Glopo, super-intellegent jellyfish like creatures who are highly intelligent. Like most Glopo, he assumes his intelligence gives him superiority over everyone else, a mindset that has developed into a social racism among his people. He reasons very fast, winning multiple awards, always thinking his is the only way. His robotic 'suit' gives him mobility, and allows better interaction with humanoids, with his slug-like true form in its skull. He wears clothes that are reserved and plain. Over time with his new friends on University, Zebulin's eyes are gradually opened, as he gains more understanding of the people around him, something his family and race are not particulary happy about.
